I'm Avirup Das, currently pursuing an M.Sc. in Big Data Analytics at RKMVERI. I have a strong passion for Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Computer Vision, and I enjoy applying these technologies to solve real-world problems. My academic journey has equipped me with hands-on experience in tools like Python, PyTorch, Apache Spark, and Power BI.

Pneumonia Classification

Developed a CNN-based classifier using chest X-ray images to detect pneumonia. Compared performance with MLP and evaluated using multiple metrics.

CPI Index Forecasting

Applied regression techniques including Ridge, Lasso, ElasticNet, and Gradient Descent to predict the Consumer Price Index (CPI) using real economic data.

Touchless Interaction

Developed a touchless volume control application, a virtual calculator, and a virtual canvas integrated with AI.

Speech Emotion Recognition

Trained MLP and CNN models on RAVDESS & SAVEE datasets to classify human emotions from voice. Performed augmentation and cross-experiment comparison.
